December 15th, 2015, IIF Delhi & G-Noida : IIF Professor Dr. Yamini Agarwal {Dean, Research and Development (R&D)} Indian Institute of Finance has been bestowed (honoured) with the "23rd Dewang Mehta Best Professor in Financial Management Award" at Taj Lands end Mumbai (India) on November 28th, 2015 at 15:30 hrs (3:45 PM) for her Teaching, Research and Contributions to Academics in the field of Finance. The award has been instituted by Dewang Mehta Memorial Trust.

Prof. Yamini Agarwal is currently, a Professor of Finance & Vice Chairperson at Indian Institute of Finance . She is also serving as Associate Editor of Associate Editor, Finance India . She has studied at some of the most prestigious Ivy League Institutions such as IIT, Delhi, Delhi School of Economics, Shri Ram College of Commerce and SIDA, Sweden. She has written over 16 research papers, 35 book reviews published in leading national and international journals. She has supervised over 71 MBA dissertations and developed over 30 case studies. She has over 12 years teaching and research experience in Corporate finance, Advanced Financial Analysis; Financial Modelling, Public Finance and E-Finance. She is also on Editorial Board of several international journals. Her book on Capital Structure Decisions Evaluating Risk and Uncertainty is published by Wiley International Singapore and other book on Capital Structure Decisions under Multiple Objectives : A Study of Indian Corporates by IIF, Delhi. Prof. Yamini Agarwal is often invited as Expert on AIR / TV on various financial and economic issues.
