Given the mission of the educational programs - to develop outstanding finance managers who contribute to the well being of society - IIF strives to maintain the highest ethical standards among all members of the fraternity. Integrity, honesty and sincerity are fundamentals to the success of the program and serve as the foundation for the IIF Fraternity Standards and Code of Conduct.
These standards are designed to enhance the learning environment at the IIF and enable all members of the family to fully achieve their potential. In addition, the standards can serve as a template for the future executives thought out their careers as managers, as they seek to set forth and maintain standards for the organizations in which they are involved.
Recognizing that all individuals act significantly affect the life of a society, Future Executives are expected to act responsibly, to interact honestly and respectfully with all others, and to be accountable for their actions. A candidate's decision to accept IIF offer of admission explicitly recognizes his/her acceptance and commitment of the learning model embodied in the teaching method, the agreement to adhere to the IIF Fraternity Standards and Code of Conduct, and the acceptance of the processes associated with its implementation.
Business students (Future Executives) play a critical role in shaping and maintaining the Fraternity Standards and Code of Conduct. They are the Ambassadors of the Institute. The Student Fraternity is to work with faculty and staff to make these standards a tangible element of the IIF experience
IIF is very strict in terms of discipline and expect students to maintain high standard of ethics and good conduct, both during course of studies and afterwards.
The students are expected to attend 100% classes and be available at the Institute from 9.30 to 5.30 like executives. However, the students may be allowed concession up to a maximum of 20% attendance due to extreme contingencies on the ground of health or any other reasons. No students will be allowed to write the examination if he/she does not have a minimum of 80% attendance.
They are supposed to follow the rules relating to dress codes as announced from time to time. Students are treated as managers on training during the course of two years.
IIF Students are expected to attend adhere to dead lines with regard to the last date, with respect to payment of fees, submission of assignment, projects and other information asked for from time to time.
The students are also expected both within the institute campus and outside as honorary members of civilized society and not involved in any activity not acceptable to the society or against the law. In case students fail to observe the necessary norms or code of conduct a strict disciplinary action may be taken against them.
Ever since the Institute has started, there has been a policy of taking a Feedback from the students twice in a tri-semester on a five parameter scale i.e., Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, & Not Good/Not Read.
The students are expected to give their free and unbiased opinion on teachers / teaching in the semester; seminars; their involvement with the course; the degree of satisfaction with respect to conduct of program and academic resources; relevance of the course; benefit and usefulness of knowledge. They are also expected to give their overall assessment.
The Feedback sheet duly filled is not accessable to any other person of the Institute and supposed to be submitted to the Director/Chairman directly by the students.
The Director/Chairman analyses the Feedback sheet of the students and take corrective actions so as to consider the views and opinions of the students regularly to add value to the Program.
