Academic & Research Tie-Up of IIF, Delhi with FIU, USA
 

Indian Institute of Finance has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Department of Finance, Florida International University, Miami, USA, in order to enhance the learning experience and internationl understanding on the basic of education, research & exchange of faculty and students.

As a part of Understanding;

  1. The MoU would allow the faculty of the respective institution to visit the other institute on invitation to teach and research on the area of one's specialization and as per the requirment of the Institution.
  2. The two respective institutions would act as liason for exchange of students for educational programmes for the proposed course of study on a reciprocal basis. Exchanged students shall be entitled to all privileges normally extended to students at the host institution. The credit towards an educational programme which is earned at the host institution shall be appropriately recognized by the home institution.
  3. One the research front -joint research projects may be undertaken after proper evaluation of a proposal, qualifications of the participating faculty members, the proposed location of the research activity and the mutual benifit to each institution.
  4. All publications, research grants or other research projects which result form journals studies and other research information which is generated by either party as a result of joint efforts under this agreement.
  5. The two institution would exchange publication such as book, academic journals studies and other research information which is generated by either party as result of joint efforts under this agreement.

As a part of the MoU, IIF has initiated and published in its quarterly journal- Finance India, a research on capital flight through abnormal trade pricing completed by three economists of Florida International University.

The MoU will help develop mutual undertstanding , use of education technologies and resource sharing between the two institutions.

Indian Institute of Finance (IIF) founded a decade back, as a non profit, autonomous educational research institute has made distinguished scholarly accomplishments and acts as a major think tank in the country.

IIF has already brought at a series of research publications and is brings its quarterly journal of Finance -Finance India, which is ranked at per with top internationl journals. The journal has an exalted editorial board including Nobel Laureates & professional of high academic caliber , headed by Professor J.D.Agarwal , IIF provides academic support to more than 60 institution and organisations in India & abord. It has very senior and prominent poeople serving in the India & International academic councils.
