Tax reforms

New Delhi: The tax reforms proposals recommended by the Chelliah Committee would result in a heavy loss of revenue both to the Central and the state government and thereby add to the financial crisis of the government. according to Indian Institute of Finance (IIF), report PTI

The institute holds that the recommendations by the committee overlook the saving and investment pattern, hence the growth and the employment potential in the corporate sector.
